Lone Tree features

watercolor exhibit

“Nature’s Shout,” a watercolor exhibit by Pat Braden, will be on
display Sunday through May 27 at the Lone Tree Library. An artist
reception is planned from 2-4 p.m., April 29, at the library, 8827
Lone Tree Parkway.

With 20 years of painting experience, Braden concentrates on
botanics and landscapes and her paintings are bold with emphasis on
color and feeling.

Braden studied at The Corcoran School of Art and the Smithsonian
Institution of Art and with Baltimore watercolorist Nancy
Epstein.

“This exhibition is not timid. Just as nature splashes color
across our landscapes, so do these paintings,” Braden
said.

Her art is displayed in private collections in Colorado,
Maryland, Virginia, California and Florida.

For information, call Pat Braden at (303) 792-5915 or the
library at (303) 799-4446.
