All the necessary permits for the Southgate Water and Sanitation
Districts headquarters improvement project have been secured and
Ash and White Construction Co. of Castle Rock started to prepare
for the work.
A groundbreaking ceremony was conducted Nov. 9.
The improvements will provide more space to house district
employees and equipment, to conceal equipment and supplies from
general view and to mitigate site use impacts on
neighbors.
Work is expected to be complete by October 2001.
The project is being funded by existing capital improvement
reserve funds.
