Students are the only ones subject to the restrictions of the
Douglas County School District’s code of conduct and dress
codes.

“Students, staff, parents and the community will dress
appropriately for the school environment,” the district’s behavior
expectations say.

That means parents and community members also must dress in a
clean, neat and safe manner; in a manner that is nondemeaning to
self and others; in a manner that promotes practices that are
consistent with district policies; and in a manner that is
conducive to the activity in which engaged, the policy says.
